The pub can be accessed from both the front and the rear carparks, leading to the main bar. The main bar retains many of its original characteristics with the essential ambience of it being a rural pub, including sofas by an open log fire at one end and a log burner at the other.
The bar has three draught ales to choose from, Otter Bitter and two guest ales, whilst Carlsberg's lager and bitters are also served, as is Guiness and Tarka. For ciders there is a choice between Devon scrumpy, a draught still cider, Sandford Orchard's Shaky Bridge and Thatcher's Gold.
To the roadside of the bar there is a large, bright and airy bay window, which also has tables and can seat large party up to 16. We also have a snug room that can seat up to 10.
In December, these two rooms, and the forge, are perfect for Christmas parties. We also reserve a number of tables in the bay and snug all year round... please ask when making a booking if you would prefere to be seated on one of those tables instead of the Forge, or when the Forge is fully booked your table will be transfered to one of these rooms.
There is an extensive menu of food to choose from, all of which is freshly prepared to your order.
